National P.G. College final year students go for industrial visit

Lucknow: Final year B.Sc. students of National PG College, Lucknow went to Chandrabhanu Gupta Agricultural Postgraduate College, Bakshi Ka Talab under the guidance of Dr. Abhijit Chatterjee, Head of the Department of Botany and Head of the Department of Zoology, Dr. Gyanendra Kumar and learned beekeeping and making organic fertilizers.

They got an understanding of food preservation, making ginger and flower extracts, making fruit jellies and growing many medicinal plants and also got information about laboratory waste and water harvesting. Dr. Satyendra Kumar Singh, IQAC Director gave detailed information about beekeeping,

Dr. H.N. Tiwari shared details about making vermi compost and Dr. Sudhir Kumar Singh Raghuvanshi gave detailed information about poultry farming and dairy farming. Dr. Jaskaran Singh gave detailed information about food preservation, making ginger and flower extracts and making fruit jelly.

Assistant Professors of Zoology Department, Dr. Archana Singh and Anuj Singh also participated in the educational tour. About 63 students participated in this program. After the tour, the students shared their experiences related to the educational tour with the Principal. The entire program was organized under the leadership of college principal Professor Devendra Kumar Singh.
