Milkipur, Ayodhya: The campaigning for the Milkipur by-election will conclude today, with Samajwadi Party (SP) Chief Akhilesh Yadav scheduled to address a crucial public rally. The rally will take place at Kisan Inter College in Bhitari, Milkipur.
In preparation for the event, SP officials and party workers have been actively reaching out to residents across villages to mobilize support and ensure a strong turnout. The party’s campaign efforts had previously gained momentum with a roadshow led by SP MP Dimple Yadav on January 30, which witnessed a large gathering of supporters. However, the following day, a case was registered concerning the roadshow.
The high-profile Milkipur election has also seen significant involvement from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has conducted two public meetings in the constituency. Additionally, both Deputy Chief Ministers, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, have addressed rallies to garner support for the BJP candidate. Several ministers from the state government have been stationed in Milkipur, reflecting the election’s importance, while other senior BJP officials remain actively engaged in the campaign.
As the intense political battle nears its end, all eyes are now on the voters of Milkipur, who will determine the fate of the candidates when they cast their votes on February 5.
