Lucknow: An impressive all-round performance by Mohammad Sharif, who claimed three wickets and scored an unbeaten 58, guided Lucky Automobile to a six-wicket victory over Smash Cricket Club in the fifth Adhir Dubey (former MLC) Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament.
In the match played at NR Stadium, Smash Cricket Club, batting first, posted 153 for five in their allotted 20 overs. Narinder Jeet top-scored with 43 off 28 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes. Gaurav contributed 35 runs, while Bhupinder Sandhu added 29 to help the team set a competitive target.
Mohammad Sharif was the pick of the Lucky Automobile bowlers, taking three wickets to restrict Smash Cricket Club to 153.
In reply, Lucky Automobile chased down the target comfortably, scoring 157 for four in 19.2 overs. Zeeshan Azhar anchored the innings with 51 off 41 balls, including three fours, while Sharif produced a match-winning unbeaten knock of 58 off just 30 deliveries, striking five fours and two sixes.
Abdul chipped in with 16 runs, while Qaid Zohar contributed 15.
Sharif was named Man of the Match for his decisive contribution with both bat and ball, leading Lucky Automobile to a convincing victory in the tournament.
