Aditri Singh Clinches Girls’ Under-14 Title with Spectacular Performance

Lucknow: Aditri Singh displayed an exceptional performance to secure the Girls’ Under-14 title at the Chandra Prakash Agarwal Memorial UP State Ranking Tennis Tournament. Meanwhile, in the Boys’ Under-16 category, Shikhar Kumar emerged victorious in singles, while the duo of Shikhar Singh and Anay Srivastava claimed the doubles title.

Organized under the aegis of the Uttar Pradesh Tennis Association, the tournament was hosted by the SDS Tennis Academy at the SDS La Martiniere Tennis Facility.

In the Girls’ Under-14 final, Aditri Singh dominated her opponent, Aashi Kiran, with a commanding 6-2, 6-0 victory. Aditri’s precise groundstrokes and powerful serves kept Aashi on the back foot throughout the match. Despite Aashi’s best efforts, Aditri’s consistency and control on the court sealed her decisive win.

The Boys’ Under-16 singles final saw Shikhar Kumar defeat Aryan Kumar in straight sets 6-2, 6-0. Shikhar impressed with his exceptional court coverage and high-intensity gameplay, leaving little room for his opponent to recover.

In the Boys’ Under-16 doubles final, the team of Shikhar Singh and Anay Srivastava triumphed over Samarth Bhatnagar and Yaduraj Singh Bihani with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-4.

Additionally, in the Boys’ Under-12 semifinals, Atharv Goyal showcased a stellar performance, defeating Avyan Jain 6-1, 6-0 to secure his place in the final.

The tournament highlighted the emerging tennis talent in Uttar Pradesh, with players displaying remarkable skill and determination across all categories.
