Gautam Adani Describes Kumbh Experience as “Amazing, Unique, and Divine”

Prayagraj: World-renowned industrialist Gautam Adani, along with his family, arrived in Prayagraj  to participate in the holy rituals of the Mahakumbh. The Adani family, including Gautam Adani’s wife, Dr. Preeti Adani, Chairperson of Adani Foundation, his son Karan Adani, daughter-in-law Paridhi Adani, and granddaughters, joined the religious celebrations. Also present was his younger son, Jeet Adani. During this visit, Gautam Adani took the opportunity to announce the wedding date of his son Jeet Adani, revealing that the wedding will take place on February 7, 2025.

When asked by reporters whether the wedding would have celebrity participation, Gautam Adani clarified that the wedding would be a family affair and would be celebrated with simplicity and intimacy.

Participation in ISKCON Activities and Visit to Major Temples

Gautam Adani’s day began around 12:30 PM with a visit to the ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) temple, where he actively participated in the preparation of prasad (sacred food offerings). Dr. Preeti Adani and her daughter-in-law Paridhi Adani also took part, with Dr. Preeti spreading ghee on the rotis and Paridhi peeling peas. Following this, the family distributed prasad and received it together.

Later, the Adani family traveled to the Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers, where they took a holy dip and performed religious rituals. After the dip and prayers, Gautam Adani expressed his feelings of awe, describing the experience as “amazing, unique, and divine.” He remarked, “Coming to Prayagraj felt like the collective faith, service, and cultures of the world have merged here in the lap of Mother Ganga.”

He extended his heartfelt thanks to the saints, seers, pilgrims, the administration, cleanliness workers, and security forces for their tireless efforts in making the Kumbh a grand success. Gautam Adani further offered his gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their leadership, and praised the Kumbh administration and police forces for their exemplary work.

Contribution to Gita Press and ISKCON Initiatives

After his visit to the Sangam, Gautam Adani proceeded to the Gita Press stall, where he distributed Aarti collections. In partnership with Gita Press, Gautam Adani committed to distributing 1 crore Aarti collections and pledged, in collaboration with ISKCON, to feed 1 lakh people every day during the Mahakumbh. These contributions reflect his commitment to supporting social and religious causes.
