Lucknow: Lucknow University and Ek Koshish Aisi Bhi, the organization organized a blood donation camp in the RK Mukherjee auditorium of Lucknow University on Independence Day. The students gathered in the camp participated enthusiastically dancing to patriotic songs. The camp was inaugurated by Lucknow University Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai. He said that blood donation is the responsibility of all of us. People of a certain age can help the sick and disabled people in the society by donating blood. Blood donation creates new blood in the body and makes our body capable of fighting many diseases. He also congratulated for organizing the camp. In the camp, the youth danced to the songs of the country’s independence on the music band.
In the camp organized in the Radhakamal Mukherjee auditorium of the Department of Social Work of Lucknow University, the doctors of SGPGI examined the youth who came to donate blood.
Lucknow University Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Rai inaugurated the camp by lighting a lamp. The organization’s president Varsha Verma welcomed him by giving a bouquet. The youth gathered in the camp came forward and donated blood.
39 people donated blood in the day-long camp. During this, 50 people were tested. The special thing about the camp was that Raktveer (blood donor) who had donated blood many times also came to boost the enthusiasm of the youth. Lucknow University’s Dean Students Welfare Professor VK Sharma, Vice Chancellor Professor Manuka Khanna, Professor Anoop Kumar Bhartiya and others also donated blood and boosted the enthusiasm of the youth.
The attraction of the camp was the music band. The team of Ishita, Shubh and Aakancha filled the atmosphere with patriotism by singing patriotic songs.
It should be noted that this is the second camp of the organization in the Lucknow University campus. The organization Ek Koshish Aisi Bhi has organized more than three dozen camps so far. Along with organizing three to four camps every year, blood is made available to the needy in case of medical emergency.
