Lucknow: U.P. RERA, in its 166th meeting, granted registration to 18 new real estate projects and extended registration for 8 ongoing projects. Of these, Gautambudh Nagar saw the highest number of new approvals (6 projects), attracting Rs. 3110 crore in investment and proposing 4774 new apartments. Notably, 76% of the total investment and 78% of new units are concentrated in Gautambudh Nagar.
Additionally, U.P. RERA approved the extension of 8 projects, all in Gautambudh Nagar, paving the way for the completion of 4946 apartments, including 2478 units under the Amitabh Kant Committee’s recommendations. One registration application was rejected, while 10 were deferred for corrections.
Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy emphasized the importance of accurate documentation for seamless approvals. To streamline the process, RERA will offer training for promoters and staff on filling online applications at its Lucknow headquarters. A dedicated helpdesk is also available for assistance.
