San Francisco: Twitter’s iconic blue bird logo, once a symbol of social media identity, has now found a new owner through an auction. Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter, he has implemented several major changes, including rebranding the platform as ‘X.’ Now, the emblematic blue bird that once adorned Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco has been auctioned off.
How Much Did the Blue Bird Sell For?
According to the auction company’s PR team, the blue bird was sold for $34,375 (approximately ₹30 lakh). Weighing about 254 kg, the sign measures 12 feet in length and 9 feet in width. However, the identity of the new owner has not yet been disclosed.
Apple Memorabilia Also Auctioned
In addition to the Twitter logo, a rare Apple-1 computer was auctioned for $375,000 (approximately ₹3.22 crore). Additionally, an Apple check signed by Steve Jobs fetched $112,054 (approximately ₹96.3 lakh).
The sale of these iconic tech artifacts reflects the growing demand for memorabilia linked to some of the most influential companies in the digital world.
