Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has revised the toll rates for heavy vehicles plying on its three expressways. In this, toll rates for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, tractors, cars, buses and trucks have been kept unchanged. There has been no increase in these. UPEDA has released these new rates.
These rates will be applicable from April 1, 2024. Under this, toll tax on heavy and large vehicles has been increased. This decision has brought relief to the general public as they do not have to pay toll at any increased rate.
The government did not increase rates in many categories in view of the Lok Sabha elections. Rates have been increased only on heavy construction machine vehicles and large size vehicles (with seven or more axles). In these, for heavy construction work machine vehicles on Agra Expressway, now instead of Rs 3170, toll will have to be Rs 3185.
Now instead of Rs 3365, you will have to pay Rs 3380 on Purvanchal Expressway and Rs 3920 instead of Rs 3895 on Bundelkhand Expressway. Similarly, for large size vehicles with seven or more axles, they will have to pay Rs 4095 instead of Rs 4070 on Agra Lucknow Expressway, Rs 4330 instead of Rs 4305 on Purvanchal Expressway and Rs 3920 instead of Rs 3895 on Bundelkhand Expressway.
