Lucknow: Director of Secondary Education Dr. Mahendra Dev held a review meeting with the librarians of all the state district libraries of the state. In which many other important points including the smooth functioning of the library and the prevailing problems were discussed.
Director of Secondary Education directed to make proper arrangements for readers of all age groups. Apart from the state district library, discussions were also held regarding the progress of establishing a state-of-the-art digital library.
Director of Secondary Education directed all the librarians to form a career counseling cell in their state district library to solve the career related problems of the students. Also, make arrangements for a knowledgeable counselor for counseling of students stressed about career.
Shantwana Tiwari, Special Executive Officer (Library), Uttar Pradesh Government and Shri Ram Shankar, Deputy Director of Education (Women) along with other district officials were present in the meeting.
