Lucknow: The 14th edition of Entente concluded on 24th July 2026, marking the culmination of three remarkable days of creativity, collaboration, and spirited competition at La Martiniere Girls’ College.
The day featured an engaging line-up of competitions that celebrated creativity, intellect, and innovation. Tales Unbound, organised by Bee Jewel, provided a platform for participants to showcase their literary flair through imaginative storytelling, while Jingles, organised by Connexus, tested creativity through music and composition. Meme-o-Mania, conducted by Capturesque, challenged participants to blend humour, originality, and current trends to create engaging and relatable content. Events such as Nukkad Natak, Sherlock Syndrome, Competition X, Animalia Artistry, and several others further reflected the remarkable talent, teamwork, and enthusiasm that defined Entente 2026.
The festival culminated in the Closing Ceremony, graced by Chief Guest Mr. Namit Das, an acclaimed actor, singer, and theatre artist known for his performances in Wake Up Sid, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Aarya, and several other notable productions. In his address, he emphasised the role of teachers in our lives. Powerful reminders of “Things happen when they happen” and “Discipline and persistence will always outweigh the instinct of talent” left the audience inspired.
The Lady Principal of the College, Mrs. A. Dass, then took to the podium to address the gathering. In her speech she emphasised the dynamic stage that Entente brings for participants.
In her vote of thanks, she thanked the students and staff that made Entente a reality.
As the ceremony drew to a close, awards were given to the best performers across all events. The winning school for the Sherlock Syndrome shield was City Montessori School Cambridge, and the coveted Best School Trophy was clinched by La Martiniere College, Lucknow.
