NCL achieved its coal production target

Singrauli: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) Singrauli has crossed its annual coal production target of 135 million tonnes ahead of time. The company has achieved this feat by producing 135.24 million tonnes of coal against the target with 3 days remaining in the current financial year. In the same sequence, NCL’s Dudhichua, Jayant, Jhingurda, Kakri and Block B projects have also achieved their annual coal production target and the rest are moving ahead for this.

On this excellent performance, CMD, NCL B. Sairam, Director (Personnel), Manish Kumar, Director (Finance) Rajneesh Narayan and Director (Technical/Operations) Jitendra Malik, Director (Technical/Project and Planning) Sunil Prasad Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer Ravindra Prasad have congratulated Team NCL.

It has already achieved the annual target of coal dispatch and surcharge removal. NCL has achieved the annual target of 135 million tonnes of coal dispatch in the financial year 2023–24 8 days before the scheduled time. The company has so far dispatched 136.61 million tonnes of coal to all its customers including the power sector. Also, NCL has sent 121.30 million tonnes of coal to power plants for power supply.
