Mumbai: The festive season has received another musical boost with the release of ‘Moydamukho Hit’, the latest song from Windows Productions’ much-awaited film Bohorupi – The Golden Dacoit. Featuring Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Kaushani, the track brings together energetic beats, earthy rhythms and a vibrant festive mood.
Designed as a high-energy celebration song, Moydamukho Hit captures the colourful world of the film while adding a lively dance element to the festive season. Its desi musical flavour and upbeat rhythm are aimed at turning the track into a popular choice for Puja celebrations.
The song has been composed by Bony Chakraborty, with lyrics by Ritam Sen. Additional lyrics for the Chora portion have been penned by Nani Chora Das Baul. Shrestha Das, Nani Chora Das Baul and Bony Chakraborty lend their voices to the track, while Sudipto Paul has handled the music production.
Choreographed by Maggie, the song offers another glimpse into the colourful and energetic universe of Bohorupi – The Golden Dacoit.
Sharing their thoughts on the track, Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee said they wanted to capture the film’s festive spirit in an uninhibited and entertaining manner. They described the song as rooted in a desi sound, with a rhythm designed to get audiences dancing during the Puja celebrations.
The release of Moydamukho Hit has added to the anticipation surrounding the film. Bohorupi – The Golden Dacoit is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on October 15, 2026, promising a combination of action, drama, romance and high-energy entertainment.
