LDA streamlines route to rehabilitation for Akbarnagar denizens

Lucknow: All illegal constructions/encroachments made between Kukrail river and dam in Akbar Nagar I and II will be removed from Monday. Lucknow Development Authority has made full preparations for this. Authority’s Vice President Dr. Indramani Tripathi visited Akbar Nagar on Sunday and interacted directly with the local people.

The Vice Chairman said that 1679 residents of Akbar Nagar have been allotted Pradhan Mantri Awas. The Authority is continuously organizing camps in Akbar Nagar and distributing allotment letters to the people. Also, for the convenience of the displaced people, all allotment letters have also been uploaded on the LDA website, which people can easily download.

He appealed to the people to get the allotment letter and take possession of their building as soon as possible. To ensure that people do not face any inconvenience in getting possession of the building, a full team of officers and employees has been deployed in Basant Kunj Yojana, which is helping the residents of Akbar Nagar to get possession of the building on the spot.

On this occasion, Additional Secretary of the Authority Gyanendra Verma, Joint Secretary Sushil Pratap Singh and Chief Engineer Ajay Kumar Singh along with officers and employees of district administration, police and municipal corporation were present.
