Lucknow: State Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay said that Bundelkhand University, Jhansi was entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the State Level Joint B.Ed. Entrance Examination-2024. Bundelkhand University successfully conducted the State Level Joint B.Ed. Entrance Examination-2024. This year, 223384 candidates from 51 districts of the state participated in the examination, including 102016 women, 121367 men and 1 transgender candidate.
About 90% of the candidates appeared in the General Knowledge and Language examination in the first shift. In the second shift, the Aptitude Test and Subject Aptitude examination were also conducted with the same percentage. The examinations of both the shifts were conducted in a fair and peaceful environment.
The university conducted live monitoring of the examination centers using the modern surveillance system ICCC. Apart from this, the attendance of the candidates was recorded through Artificial Intelligence and Real Time Biometric Attendance System, which ensured transparency and security of the examination.
During the examination, the identity of a total of 22 candidates in Prayagraj and Agra was found suspicious, out of which an FIR was lodged against two of them. After investigation of the remaining candidates, they were allowed to appear in the examination. Vice Chancellor of Bundelkhand University Prof. Mukesh Pandey and his team made the examination successful by continuously monitoring.
