Happynest Partners with Feeding India, Supports Meals for Over 33,000 Children in Lucknow

Lucknow: Premium poultry brand Happynest has joined hands with Feeding India to support nutritional assistance for underprivileged children, helping provide meals to more than 33,000 children in Lucknow between January and May 2026.

The collaboration is aimed at strengthening efforts to combat hunger and malnutrition among vulnerable communities. As part of the initiative, Happynest contributed over ₹5 lakh to Feeding India’s Daily Feeding Programme, enabling the distribution of nutritious meals to children studying in schools across the city.

The programme reaches children and families through schools, Anganwadi centres and other institutions, ensuring access to balanced nutrition for those who often struggle to secure healthy meals on a daily basis.

Expanding its commitment to social impact, Happynest has also announced that ₹1 from every unit of Happynest eggs sold through its online and offline stores across India will be contributed towards Feeding India’s initiatives. The company said the move aims to connect everyday consumer purchases with a meaningful social cause.

Commenting on the partnership, Faizal Siddiqui, Founder and CEO of Happynest Poultry Products Pvt. Ltd., said the company believes its responsibility extends beyond providing fresh, safe and nutritious poultry products.

“At Happynest, we are committed to creating a positive impact on society. Our partnership with Feeding India reflects our belief that everyday purchases can contribute to a larger purpose. We want to support initiatives that create visible change on the ground and help more children gain access to nutritious food,” he said.

A spokesperson for Feeding India highlighted that malnutrition affects not only children’s health but also their education, development and future opportunities. The organisation currently works to provide nutritious and balanced meals to more than 100,000 children and sees partnerships such as this as vital for expanding its reach.

Operating in over 150 cities, Feeding India reaches more than 140,000 children every day through a network of partner organisations. Its flagship programme supports schools and institutions associated with 1,091 NGOs, including educational centres, schools for children with disabilities, sports and arts academies, and orphanages.

The organisation also works with 574 Anganwadi centres and has launched special nutrition-focused initiatives in districts such as Varanasi, Benipur and Nandurbar. These programmes benefit nearly 17,000 children in the 0–6 age group, addressing critical nutritional needs during early childhood.

The partnership between Happynest and Feeding India is expected to further strengthen efforts to improve food security and nutritional support for children, while encouraging consumers to contribute to social welfare through their everyday choices.
