Gonda: A grand Tiranga Yatra awareness rally was organised at St Xavier’s School in Gonda as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign ahead of Independence Day.
District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan flagged off the rally, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, school staff and local residents.
The school campus echoed with patriotic slogans, including “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, as students marched carrying the national flag.
After being flagged off by the District Magistrate, the Tiranga Yatra proceeded from St Xavier’s School towards Ambedkar Chauraha.
Students and members of the school community participated in large numbers, turning the procession into a vibrant display of patriotism and national unity.
A major attraction of the rally was a 50-metre-long national flag, which was carried by students and participants throughout the procession. The sight of the massive Tricolour moving through the streets generated enthusiasm among residents and reinforced the message of national unity, integrity and patriotism.

The rally was organised with the objective of spreading awareness about the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, encouraging citizens to respect and take pride in the national flag and motivating people to hoist the Tricolour at their homes on the occasion of Independence Day.
Students participated in the event with discipline, enthusiasm and a strong sense of patriotism. Their participation helped convey the campaign’s message to the wider community.
The school administration said the initiative was aimed at taking the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to every section of society and strengthening respect for the national flag and the spirit of patriotism.
The colourful procession added fresh momentum to the atmosphere of national unity and pride in Gonda.School manager Suzanne Dutta, principal Payal Dubey, Anuja Saxena, Moumita, Sunil Bahadur, Jabir Ali, Kuldeep Yadav, Amit Mishra, Kuldeep Verma and Pratyush Raj, along with other members of the school community and dignitaries, were present on the occasion.
