Mumbai: People are often seeking guidance when life feels uncertain, but for spiritual practitioners navigating the emotional demands of their work can be difficult sometimes. Astrologer and celebrity Tarot card reader Munisha Khatwani shares that asking the right question is more important.
She said, “When you ask the right questions, you automatically move towards finding the right answers. The universe guides you when your intentions are right. When your intentions are clear and genuine, you will receive the right kind of guidance.”
Munisha also confessed that protecting her own peace can be quite difficult when the work involves dealing with other people’s worries and fears. She said, “I would say the biggest things I do are take rock salt baths, pray, read the Sundarkand, and practise things that keep me positive and help me maintain my energy.”
“When you read for people, you tend to absorb their negativity, and that can affect your emotional and mental space. I also feel it can affect you physically, as you may become more prone to falling sick,” she added.

She also stressed that the biggest misconception about people who practise tarot and astrology is that they are somehow different from ordinary human beings. She said, “They also go out, have fun, attend parties, travel and enjoy their lives, just like everyone else. They can also make mistakes in their predictions because they are not God. This perception of astrologers and tarot readers as exceptionally holy or godly is, I think, the biggest misconception.”
“There are many modern-day astrologers like me who balance their work as astrologers and tarot readers with leading normal lives and being part of the industry,” Munisha ended.
