Gonda: A farewell ceremony was organised at the Umri Begumganj police station premises on Tuesday to bid an emotional farewell to police personnel who had recently been transferred from the station.
The programme was presided over by Station House Officer Pawan Mishra. Sub-Inspector Brijesh Yadav, who has been transferred to another district, along with constables Piyush Yadav, Sanjeev Kumar, Rahul Verma, Pankaj Yadav and woman constable Pooja Devi, were honoured and given a farewell by their colleagues.
Speaking on the occasion, SHO Pawan Mishra extended his best wishes to all the transferred personnel and wished them success in their future assignments. Praising Sub-Inspector Brijesh Yadav, he said that Yadav had discharged his responsibilities with dedication, sincerity and integrity during his tenure at the police station.
The farewell programme was attended by Sub-Inspectors Ravindra Rawat and Arun Dwivedi, along with other police personnel. Colleagues expressed their appreciation for the services of the transferred personnel and wished them success in their new postings.
