Lucknow: A massive gathering of devotees was witnessed at Shri Shyam Mandir, located on Birbal Sahni Marg, from early morning as they arrived for the darshan of Shri Shyam Baba on the auspicious occasion of Rangbhari Ekadashi. Devotees from all corners of Lucknow, carrying flags and chanting devotional hymns in praise of Shri Shyam Baba, danced their way to the temple in devotion.

According to the General Secretary of Shri Shyam Parivar Lucknow, a grand and divine darbar of Shri Shyam Baba has been meticulously crafted by artists from Kolkata after 20 days of hard work. On the occasion of Ekadashi, devotees consider it highly auspicious to visit Shri Shyam Baba’s temple. Special arrangements were made to ensure a smooth darshan experience for all visitors, and special prasad was distributed among the devotees. Additionally, a newly built mundan (tonsure) site for children saw its first ceremonial hair-cutting ritual, performed for a child named Krishibh Garg. His father, Aarush Garg, expressed gratitude to the committee for this new facility.

The event was graced by the presence of prominent personalities, including Radhe Mohan Agarwal, Awadhesh Agarwal, Mahavir Prasad, Radhe Shyam Agarwal, Brijendra Agarwal, Sunil Agarwal, Ajay Jhunjhunwala, and Bharat Bhushan Gupta.

Falgunotsav Sawariya Celebration on March 11

General Secretary Rupesh Agarwal announced that on March 11, at 7 PM, a grand Falgunotsav Sawariya program will be held with much enthusiasm. Renowned Shri Shyam bhajan singers from Kolkata, including Gurpreet Singh and Rani Kaur, will perform, along with a dance drama based on Shri Shyam Baba’s divine pastimes, choreographed by Kavita Sharma and the Bhaskar Group from Kolkata.

Holi Festival Inspired by Vrindavan Dham

The much-awaited Holi celebration, modeled after Vrindavan Dham, will be held on March 14 from 6 AM onwards. Rupesh Agarwal stated that, just like previous years, this year’s Holi festival will be a grand spectacle featuring ten kundal (large containers) of herbal gulal and three kundal of flowers. Various cultural programs will also be organized to add to the festive spirit. Devotees attending the event will be served prasad, including traditional gujiya and thandai.
