Lucknow/Agra: Senior Uttar Pradesh IPS officer and current Police Commissioner of Agra, Deepak Kumar, was honoured by the Vishwa Hindu Raksha Parishad in recognition of his contribution to maintaining law and order and his role in exposing a major alleged conversion racket in 2025.
The felicitation ceremony was organised under the leadership of National President Gopal Rai, who praised the officer’s service and commitment to public safety.
Speaking on the occasion, Gopal Rai said that officers like Deepak Kumar, who demonstrate dedication, fearlessness, and strong sense of duty, serve as true guardians of national security. He said the organisation was proud to honour an officer who has consistently worked to strengthen law enforcement and public trust.
Deepak Kumar has been credited for his firm administrative approach and effective leadership in maintaining law and order in Agra. His recent action in a sensitive case related to alleged illegal conversion activities was highlighted during the event as an example of decisive policing and professional integrity.

The organisers stated that his work has helped strengthen public confidence and security in the region, reflecting both administrative efficiency and commitment to justice.
