Lucknow: The wave of administrative reshuffles in Uttar Pradesh continues post-Holi, with several IAS and IPS officers being transferred. In the latest move on March 22, 2025, the Lucknow Police Commissionerate has witnessed key transfers, including two Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCP) and two Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP).
DCP Central Lucknow, Raveena Tyagi, has been reassigned as DCP Intelligence and Security. Additionally, she has been given the additional charge of DCP Crime and DCP Women’s Crime.
Soumya Pandey, previously ACP Traffic, has now been assigned as ACP Women’s Crime, along with additional responsibilities for UP-112 emergency services and the Social Media Cell. Similarly, Anshu Jain, who was serving as ACP Women’s Crime, has been reassigned as ACP Traffic.
Upendra Agarwal Appointed as IG Security, Lucknow
The reshuffling spree in UP Police continues, with seven IPS officers and 20 PPS officers transferred recently. Among them, Upendra Agarwal has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) Security, Lucknow.
Additionally, IPS Vinod Kumar Singh has been given the charge of Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), Kanpur Nagar, while IPS Amit Verma has been assigned as Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Lucknow.
20 PPS Officers Transferred; Key Appointments in Bareilly and Bulandshahr
Among the 20 PPS officers transferred, ASP Bareilly, Dr. Tejveer Singh, has been appointed as SP Rural, Bulandshahr. Meanwhile, DGP PRO Rajendra Kumar Gautam has been posted as Additional DCP, Noida.
