Lucknow— The Hasanaganj Police, under the Lucknow Commissionerate, launched a rigorous checking drive against rule violators on city roads, focusing particularly on e-rickshaws and two-wheelers operating without number plates.
The drive was led by Inspector D.K. Singh of Hasanaganj Police Station, along with a team of police personnel. The checking operation was conducted at the Daliganj Bridge area, where several vehicles were stopped for verification.
During the campaign, police took strict action against e-rickshaw drivers and bike riders found operating without valid number plates. The police checked vehicle documents thoroughly and issued warnings to those not complying with traffic regulations.
Inspector D.K. Singh stated that the drive aimed to ensure road safety and curb the rising instances of unregistered and illegally operated vehicles on public roads. He also emphasized that such drives would continue in the coming days and urged citizens to follow all traffic norms.
Hasanaganj Police have issued strict advisories to e-rickshaw operators and bikers, warning them to adhere to the rules or face legal consequences.
