Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again praised Uttar Pradesh in the radio broadcast program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. He praised the state for strengthening the resolve of ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, also for the tree plantation achievements of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi by posting on his social media platform ‘X’ after the Mann Ki Baat program.
Expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister on the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, more than 26 crore saplings have been planted under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign of Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister described it as a symbol of responsibility and love towards Mother Earth. He said that with the inspiration of the Prime Minister and the efforts of the state government, this campaign became a mass movement, in which everyone from rural panchayats to urban areas participated. This initiative has reached a new height with the participation of schools, colleges and local organizations.
Success of 10 years of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program
The Chief Minister also mentioned in the post that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program is going to complete its successful 10 years on October 3. He said that this program has become an important medium to bind the country together and connect the general public with national and social work. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has brought positive change in areas like cleanliness, digital India, women empowerment, environmental protection and youth upliftment.
Congratulations on the completion of 10 years of ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the Prime Minister and all the Swachhta Praharis, referring to the completion of 10 years of ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’ on October 2. Describing this mission as dedicated to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, he said that it has worked to bring awareness about cleanliness among the people. The Chief Minister urged the people of the state to stay connected with this campaign and take a pledge to build a strong and capable India in accordance with the Prime Minister’s intention of cleanliness.
‘Vocal for Local’ and the resolution of self-reliant India
The Chief Minister, while taking forward the concept of ‘self-reliant India’ in the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, posted that the countrymen should buy indigenous goods during festivals. Supporting the Prime Minister’s appeal, he said that the mantra of ‘Vocal for Local’ should be adopted and while shopping, it should be kept in mind that the goods should be ‘Made in India’. The Chief Minister called it an inspiring initiative dedicated to the ‘Nation First’ spirit and called upon the people of the state to contribute to this campaign.
