Akhil Bharti Sansthan Hosts Book Launch and Sahitya Samman 2025 Ceremony in Lucknow

Lucknow: In a grand literary celebration organized by the Akhil Bharti Sansthan, two significant works by Er. Ramakant Tiwari ‘Shamil’Hasya Vyangya Kanikayein (Vol-2) and Bhakti Kalash (Vol-3)—were formally launched during the Sahitya Samman 2025 ceremony. The event was held under the esteemed chairmanship of Prof. Surya Prasad Dixit, with Padma Shri awardee Vidya Bindu Singh gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of annual literary honours instituted in the memory of Ramil’s parents. Under the Prabharam Tiwari Smriti Avadhi and Avadhi Lok Sahitya Samman 2025, noted writers Mahendra Bhishm and Acharya Surya Prasad Sharma Nishihar were felicitated. Likewise, under the Sita Devi Smriti Avadhi and Avadhi Lok Sahitya Samman, Dr. Satya Singh and Dr. Rashmi Sheel Shukla were honoured.

Each awardee received a cash prize of ₹5100, a commemorative memento, and a traditional angavastra as a mark of respect and recognition.

In his presidential address, Prof. Surya Prasad Dixit lauded Ramakant Tiwari’s literary devotion, noting that Bhakti Kalash reflects a natural sense of devotion and surrender to God, while simultaneously expressing a universal plea for divine grace upon all mankind. He also praised the Hasya Vyangya Kanikayein for emphasizing that humour is one of humanity’s greatest treasures—a divine gift essential to life, as vital as breath.

Padma Shri Vidya Bindu Singh, in her keynote speech, highlighted the emotional depth and thematic diversity of both books. She remarked, “In today’s stressful world, making people smile is no small feat, and the author has achieved this wonderfully. Faith and surrender to God undoubtedly help steer the boat of life safely across troubled waters.”

Other prominent literary figures such as Dr. Ram Bahadur Mishra, Dr. Santlal, Dr. Shiv Prakash Agnihotri, Dr. Ambarish Singh, and the honoured authors shared their insights on the direction and development of Avadhi literature and appreciated Ramil’s purposeful and impactful literary journey.

The event saw participation from over a hundred distinguished writers and literary enthusiasts from Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Gonda, Ayodhya, Bihar, and other Avadhi-speaking regions.

The ceremony was ably conducted by Dr. Rashmi Sheel, Dr. Santlal, and concluded with a warm welcome and vote of thanks by Dr. Ram Bahadur Mishra, President of Akhil Bharti Sansthan.
