Moradabad: Moradabad’s famed brassware, metal craft and traditional handicrafts will get a major international platform at the fourth Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), scheduled to be held at India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida from September 25 to 29.
A total of 78 participants from Moradabad, including established and new exporters, women and young entrepreneurs, MSMEs and artisans associated with the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, will showcase their products at the event.

Joint Commissioner Industries, Moradabad, Yogesh Kumar said the trade show is expected to attract around 1.50 lakh business buyers and more than 4.50 lakh general visitors. The event will be spread across more than 1.10 lakh square metres.
Moradabad’s participation has been divided across different categories. As many as 42 new exporters will showcase their products in Hall 14, while 14 established exporters will participate in Hall 15. Another 12 stalls have been allotted under the ODOP category in Hall 9, highlighting the district’s renowned brass and metal craftsmanship. Ten stalls have been reserved in Hall 10 for MSMEs, women and young entrepreneurs.

The four categories together account for 78 participants from Moradabad, offering local businesses an opportunity to connect directly with domestic and international buyers.
The fourth edition of UPITS is expected to feature more than 2,400 exhibitors, with Russia, Singapore, Vietnam and Austria participating as partner countries. The exhibition will cover sectors including handicrafts, ODOP products, defence, electronics, artificial intelligence, textiles and renewable energy.
Delegations and buyers from the UAE, UK, Australia, Japan and European countries are also expected to participate. The event is aimed at creating new business and export opportunities for Moradabad’s manufacturers, artisans and entrepreneurs and strengthening their access to global markets.
