Bareilly: Bareilly District Magistrate Avinash Singh, accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bareilly, inspected the site in Daruapur village of Aonla tehsil following reports that three people were swept away while attempting to cross a bridge over the Aril River.
The district administration reached the spot and assessed the situation, particularly in view of the possibility of flooding in the area. The officials also conducted a field inspection of nearby vulnerable locations to assess the river’s water level and the prevailing conditions.

Officials concerned were directed to maintain continuous monitoring of the Aril River’s water level and exercise heightened vigilance in vulnerable and potentially flood-affected areas. They were also instructed to initiate relief and rescue operations immediately if required.

The administration said public safety remains its highest priority. Authorities are keeping a close watch on the situation and have been directed to ensure all necessary preparations are in place to respond effectively to any emergency.
