Oorjaguru Ayush Gupta Opens Up About His Reiki Session at Sansad Youth Parliament 2026

Bhopal: Oorjaguru Ayush Gupta, one of the youngest Reiki Grandmasters and Energy Healers in India, recently conducted a special Reiki Healing and energy-awareness session during Sansad Youth Parliament 2026 at the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha premises in Bhopal. The session brought together meditation, positive energy, mental balance and self-awareness, offering young participants an opportunity to step away from the intensity of parliamentary discussions and reconnect with themselves.

Speaking about the experience, Ayush Gupta said, “I recently conducted a special Reiki Healing and energy-awareness session during the Sansad Youth Parliament 2026, held at the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha premises in Bhopal on 14 August. The session focused on Reiki, positive energy, meditation, mental balance and self-awareness. The idea was to give young participants a moment to pause from the intense discussions and debates of the Youth Parliament, connect with themselves, and understand the importance of maintaining inner balance in today’s fast-paced environment.”

He further shared that the response from the participants was extremely positive. “The response was extremely encouraging. The participants were very receptive and actively participated in the meditation and energy-focused practices. Many of them described the experience as peaceful, positive and different from their usual Youth Parliament activities. I believe the session created a beautiful balance between external leadership and internal awareness,” he said.

Ayush was invited to conduct the session as a Reiki Grandmaster and Energy Healer as part of Sansad Youth Parliament 2026, organised jointly by Sakar Drishti Social Foundation and Kaleido Hope, Nagpur. Reflecting on why the experience was particularly meaningful, he said, “It was particularly meaningful for me because the platform brought together young people from different parts of the country who were engaging with important social and national issues. Bringing the dimension of energy, meditation and self-awareness to such a platform made the experience even more special.”

Being a young healer himself, Ayush believes his role goes beyond personal achievement. “I feel a deep sense of responsibility rather than simply a sense of achievement. Being young and working in the field of healing gives me an opportunity to communicate ancient wisdom in a language that today’s generation can understand and relate to,” he said.
He added, “For me, being a young pioneer means creating a bridge between ancient knowledge and the mindset of modern youth. Young people today are ambitious, informed and willing to question things. If we can combine that curiosity with inner awareness, emotional balance and positive energy, we can create a much stronger generation of leaders.”

According to Ayush, leadership should also involve understanding oneself. “I also strongly believe that leadership should not only be about how we influence the world outside, but also about how well we understand and manage ourselves from within,” he explained.

Talking about why healing and meditation can be valuable for young people, Ayush said, “Today’s youth are constantly exposed to competition, information, social media, expectations and pressure. While they are developing their external skills, it is equally important to develop inner resilience, emotional awareness and mental clarity.”

He believes such practices can complement the education and professional development of young people. “Healing and meditation sessions can give young people a space to pause, breathe and reconnect with themselves. Practices such as Reiki and meditation can encourage greater self-awareness, relaxation and a more positive mindset,” he said.

Clarifying his perspective on healing, he added, “I don’t see such sessions as a replacement for education, professional development or action. Rather, they can complement them by helping young people approach challenges with greater calmness and awareness.”

Ayush also believes that mindfulness can have a place in youth-oriented platforms and institutions. “A strong future needs not only educated and skilled youth, but also balanced and self-aware youth. That is why I believe healing and mindfulness should become a meaningful part of youth-oriented platforms,” he said.

Sharing a broader thought inspired by his Youth Parliament experience, Ayush added, “In fact, I believe that Parliaments should begin with a moment of meditation and reflection, because when our minds are calm and focused, our conversations, decisions and actions can become more thoughtful.”

Concluding his thoughts, Ayush said, “The Youth Parliament experience reinforced my belief that the future of India is in the hands of a generation that is not only capable of raising important questions, but is also willing to think deeply, listen carefully and take responsibility for the country’s future.”
