Lucknow: The social and cultural organisation Udaan will host its upcoming programme “Tum Mujhe Yun Bhula Na Paoge-5” on June 29, 2026, at the Auditorium of the Buddha Research Institute, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, where seven distinguished personalities will be conferred with the prestigious Udaan Lata Mangeshkar Samman.
According to Udaan President Sarita Singh, the annual event is dedicated to the memory of legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar and late singer Asha Bhosle. The ceremony aims to celebrate excellence in the fields of art, culture, and performance.
This year, the award will be presented to Padma Shri Dr. S. N. Kuril, Bipin Kumar (Director, Bharatiya Natya Academy), Mukti Chatterjee, Dr. Malvika Hariom (vocalist), Pandit Raveenath Mishra (tabla maestro), Dr. Akanksha Srivastava (Kathak guru), and Varsha Verma for their outstanding contributions to their respective artistic disciplines.

The event will be graced by several distinguished guests. Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Brajesh Pathak and MLC Pawan Singh Chauhan will attend as chief guests. The programme will also witness the presence of eminent personalities including Padma Shri Vidya Bindu Singh, Padma Shri Urmila Srivastava, film actor Padma Shri Dr. Anil Rastogi, Prabhu Nath Rai, and maestro Ustad Yugantar Sindoor as special guests.
The organisers stated that the evening will not only honour artistic excellence but also serve as a tribute to the timeless legacy of Indian music and performing arts, inspiring younger generations to carry forward the cultural heritage of the nation.
