LUCKNOW: In a vibrant celebration of health and mindfulness, local residents and staff members gathered at the Amaravati Sports City today to mark the International Day of Yoga. The early morning event saw enthusiastic participation as attendees immersed themselves in various yoga postures (asanas) and breathing exercises (pranayama), collectively pledging to integrate wellness into their daily routines.

A Serene, Green Backdrop for Mindfulness

Set against the backdrop of an open, lush green expanse, the sports city’s natural environment provided a uniquely refreshing experience for the practitioners. Many participants expressed their delight, noting that the calm, pollution-free, and scenic surroundings of Amaravati Sports City significantly enhanced the meditative and physical rewards of their practice, making the session feel distinct from routine indoor exercises.

The event successfully drove home the message of making holistic fitness a permanent lifestyle choice rather than a single-day observance.

Leadership Vision on Holistic Health

Emphasizing the deeper essence of the ancient practice, the leadership at Amaravati highlighted how community wellness initiatives can foster long-term societal health.

“Yoga is not just a medium for physical fitness, but it is also a crucial step toward achieving mental peace and a balanced life,” said Shri Rajnikant Mishra, Founder and Chairman of Amaravati. “We are delighted to see the local community and our staff participate so enthusiastically at Amaravati Sports City, sending out a powerful and collective message for building a healthier society.”
