Mass Yoga Sessions Held Across All 25 Mandals of BJP Lucknow Metropolitan on International Yoga Day

Lucknow: On the occasion of the 12th International Yoga Day, the Bharatiya Janata Party Lucknow Metropolitan unit organized large-scale mass yoga sessions across all 25 mandals of the city. The programmes were held at various parks and public spaces, witnessing enthusiastic participation from senior party leaders, public representatives, and thousands of party workers, who pledged to adopt yoga as a foundation for a healthy and prosperous life.

At the historic Residency grounds, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak participated as the chief guest and performed yoga along with attendees. Participants also listened to the inspiring address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which was broadcast virtually on the occasion.

In Western Mandal-3 at Rajajipuram Block-C, the event witnessed the presence of BJP State General Secretary Dharampal Singh and Lucknow Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi, who actively participated in the collective yoga session.

Similarly, several prominent leaders joined yoga sessions across different mandals of the city. In Purab Mandal-2 at Swarna Jayanti Park, MLA O.P. Srivastava participated. At Ravindra Palli Park in Gomti Nagar, BJP State General Secretary Govind Narayan Shukla joined the programme. In Uttar Mandal-2 at Saraswati Senior Secondary School, Sector-Q, Aliganj, State General Secretary Anup Gupta took part. In Uttar Mandal-3 at Niral Nagar Park, State Minister Shiv Bhushan Singh participated, while in Western Mandal-4 at Napier Road Colony Park, Anjani Srivastava joined the yoga session. In Central Mandal-2 at Modern Park, Rajneesh Gupta also participated in the event.

Addressing participants, Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi said that yoga is an invaluable heritage of India’s ancient culture. He emphasized that yoga is not only a means of maintaining physical health but also a pathway to mental peace, spiritual balance, and disciplined living.

He further noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, yoga has transformed into a global mass movement, with millions of people across the world incorporating it into their daily routine, making India’s ancient practice a symbol of universal wellness.
