Lucknow: The three-day International Roundtable Conference “Ed Leadership-2026,” organized under the aegis of the Global Education and Training Institute at the CMS Kanpur Road Auditorium, concluded here today with a strong commitment to promote literacy and numeracy across the globe. More than 2,000 educators from Egypt, Japan, Nepal, and various states of India pledged to provide quality education to students in an engaging and joyful manner. Calling for the spread of knowledge to every corner of society, the educators emphasized that in the era of Artificial Intelligence, no child should remain illiterate. However, they stressed the need to combine AI with value-based and character building education. They stressed the need for an education system that ensures the holistic development of children and nurtures leadership qualities in them.
During the three-day conference, participants explored innovative educational strategies and discussed approaches to communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity that can make education more purposeful, active, transformative, and holistic. Special emphasis was placed on how Robotics and Artificial Intelligence can be effectively integrated into modern educational practices.
On the third and final day of the conference, CMS Rajajipuram Campus presented an interactive session on “Panchkosh and the Pihu Tree,” which proved to be highly educational and value-based. A special attraction of the day was Devraj Singh, a Class I student of CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus, who astonished the audience with his fluent English and knowledge of a variety of topics, earning widespread admiration.““On this occasion, Mr. Saurabh Saha and his team launched the research portal “Compete With Yourself.”
In addition, a panel discussion was organized under the moderation of Aditi Sharma, Principal of CMS Chowk Campus. The panel comprised Rachna Goyal, Jyotsna Atul, Joonu Thakur, Smriti Mehrotra, Mohika Kohli, and Sanjay Kumar Gupta, who shared valuable insights on the theme “Beyond Academics: The Path to Twenty-First Century Holistic Education”. Another panel discussion focused on the topic “One Year From Now: The Leadership Commitments That Matter.” The discussion featured Saurabh Dixit, Manoj Verma, Rajesh Rathore, Seema Thulgaria, Sarita Chauhan, and Vandana Grover, who exchanged meaningful ideas and perspectives on leadership commitments in education.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude to the educators who had come from India and abroad, Dr. Sunita Gandhi, Convener of Ed Leadership-2026, stated during the closing ceremony that educational strategies can succeed only when the classroom environment is loving, compassionate, and harmonious. She remarked that teachers are like a child’s second mother and play a vital role in shaping character. Dr. Gandhi emphasized that children, like plants, grow naturally, but they require a positive and peaceful environment, joyful learning experiences, and encouragement from their teachers to flourish. The conference concluded with the presentation of the prestigious “Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan National Award” to distinguished principals and educators in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the field of education.
