Gonda: Alongside the resolution of public grievances, several beneficiaries of government welfare schemes received on-the-spot assistance during the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas held at Karnailganj Tehsil on Saturday.
Following the public hearing, District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Devipatan Range, V. P. Singh, Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal, and Chief Development Officer Dayanand Prasad distributed approval letters, certificates, seed kits, housing keys, and other benefits to eligible beneficiaries under various government schemes.
Under the Social Welfare Department, eligible beneficiaries of the Old Age Pension Scheme were handed approval letters, enabling them to receive financial assistance from the government. Beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Housing Scheme were also presented with the keys to their newly constructed homes, marking a significant step toward fulfilling their dream of owning a permanent residence.
The Revenue Department distributed Rural Residential Property Record (Gharauni) Certificates, providing legal recognition and ownership rights to beneficiaries over their residential properties. Farmers were supplied with quality seed kits through the Agriculture Department to support agricultural productivity and improve crop yields.
Approval letters were also distributed to eligible families under the National Family Benefit Scheme, expediting the process of financial assistance for families facing economic hardship. The District Probation Department provided sanction letters to beneficiaries covered under various welfare programmes.

In the healthcare sector, eligible residents received certificates under the Ayushman Bharat Health Scheme, entitling them to cashless medical treatment of up to ₹5 lakh annually at empanelled hospitals. Nutritional food kits were also distributed to tuberculosis patients to support their recovery and improve health outcomes.
Addressing the gathering, District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan said the administration remains committed to ensuring that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach every eligible citizen in accordance with the government’s vision.
She directed officials to ensure transparent and timely implementation of all welfare programmes and emphasized the importance of reaching beneficiaries without delay. Officials present at the event also briefed beneficiaries about various government schemes and encouraged them to take full advantage of the assistance available.
The programme reflected the district administration’s continued efforts to combine grievance redressal with direct delivery of welfare benefits, ensuring that government schemes reach citizens efficiently and effectively at the grassroots level.
