Bareilly: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, has once again brought laurels to the institution through outstanding placement achievements and distinguished career accomplishments of its students and alumni.
Speaking in a special interaction, Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.P. Singh highlighted the department’s remarkable performance during the 2026 placement season, noting that students have secured positions in several reputed national and multinational companies, reinforcing the department’s reputation for academic excellence and industry-oriented training.
Among the notable achievements, student Vishnukant has been selected by Kaynes Technology with an annual compensation package of ₹8 lakh. The department’s students have also secured placements in leading companies such as Nokia, Vivo, Rayax Technology, Lumax, Dixon, Prodesk, Essence Global Services, and several other prominent organizations.
The department’s success extends beyond the current graduating batch. Three students from the 2024 batch have been selected by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), one of India’s premier defence electronics companies. In another significant achievement, Shubham Tiwari, an alumnus from the 2022 batch, has earned a position at NVIDIA, one of the world’s leading technology and semiconductor companies, bringing international recognition to the university and its ECE programme.
The ECE department’s alumni network continues to make its mark across some of the most prestigious organizations in the technology, research, defence, and public sectors. Former students are currently serving in renowned institutions such as Synopsys, Cadence, Qualcomm, Intel, C-DAC, ISRO, DRDO, and the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. Many graduates are also contributing to leading companies and organizations in India and abroad.
University officials and departmental leadership congratulated all selected students and alumni, attributing their success to a combination of hard work, dedicated faculty mentorship, quality education, and continuous industry-oriented training provided by the institution.

They expressed confidence that students of the department will continue to excel at both national and global levels in the years ahead, further enhancing the university’s reputation.
“The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is consistently producing skilled technology professionals who are making meaningful contributions to industry, research, and national service,” university officials said.
The achievements reflect the department’s growing stature as a centre of excellence in engineering education and its commitment to preparing students for successful careers in emerging technological fields.
