Bareilly: In a significant achievement for Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, Prof. Upendra Kumar, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology and a senior scientist in the Department of Plant Sciences, has been recognized among the World’s Top 5% Scientists by the SciRank Global Registry 2025.
The prestigious recognition has been awarded following a rigorous evaluation of scientific contributions, including research publications, citation impact, and other key bibliometric indicators. According to the official certification issued by SciRank Global, Prof. Kumar’s academic and research accomplishments were independently verified before he was included in the 2025 global scientific rankings.
Prof. Kumar is widely acknowledged at both national and international levels for his pioneering work in wheat improvement, biofortification, nutritional security, and agricultural biotechnology. His research has made valuable contributions to enhancing agricultural productivity, improving crop nutrition, and strengthening food security.
