Bareilly: Bareilly has secured the second position in the overall rankings of the Chief Minister’s Dashboard for April 2026, according to rankings released by the Chief Minister’s Office.
The achievement has been credited to the efficient leadership, continuous monitoring, and regular review meetings conducted by District Magistrate Avinash Singh. Officials stated that consistent guidance and close supervision by the District Magistrate played a key role in improving the district’s performance across various sectors.
Strong Performance in Development and Revenue Categories
As per the rankings, Bareilly secured the fourth position in the state in development programmes, while it achieved second place in the revenue category. Based on the combined performance in both development and revenue sectors, the district was awarded the second overall rank in Uttar Pradesh.
The administration stated that the achievement reflects the coordinated efforts and hard work of departmental officers under the guidance of the District Magistrate.
Regular Monitoring Helped Improve Performance
The CM Dashboard has been developed for evaluation, monitoring, and review of development works across integrated departments in the state. Rankings are issued every month on the basis of the performance of services, schemes, and projects monitored through the CM Dashboard portal.
District-wise monthly rankings based on development programme performance have been issued on the portal since September 2023.

Officials said that Avinash Singh regularly conducted review meetings and monitored updated progress reports from departmental officers on a weekly basis, ensuring accountability and timely implementation of government programmes.
District Magistrate Congratulates Officials
Following the announcement of the rankings, the District Magistrate congratulated all officers and employees for the achievement and directed them to maintain momentum in development and revenue-related programmes.
He also appreciated the efforts of sub-divisional magistrates, tehsildars, and other departmental officials for their contribution towards the district’s improved performance.
