District Magistrate Chairs ‘Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas’ at Nawabganj Tehsil

Bareilly | A Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas was successfully organised at the auditorium of Nawabganj Tehsil in Bareilly district under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Avinash Singh.

During the programme, the District Magistrate personally heard the grievances of the general public and issued clear instructions to concerned officials for timely and quality-based resolution of complaints. He directed all officers to behave courteously with citizens, remain sensitive to public issues, and encourage people to come forward themselves with their grievances in accordance with the government’s intent.

A touching moment occurred when Harshita, a Class 9 student from Devraniya village, presented a self-made painting to the District Magistrate. Earlier, on the DM’s initiative, financial assistance of ₹75,000 had been sanctioned by the government for her heart surgery. Harshita and her father expressed their gratitude by presenting a bouquet.

In another case, an applicant from village Gargaiya submitted a request seeking appointment as a village chowkidar following the death of his brother, who previously held the post. The District Magistrate directed the Additional District Magistrate (Administration) to conduct an inquiry and take necessary action.

A complaint from a resident of Gulshan Nagar regarding the illegal felling of trees on a field boundary by local strongmen was also taken up, with directions issued to register a case under Section 24. Similarly, a resident of Jyora Makarandpur complained about not being issued a ration card, upon which the District Magistrate instructed the District Supply Officer to conduct an inquiry and issue the card if the applicant is found eligible.

Complaints related to revenue, food and civil supplies, development, consolidation, and electricity departments were received and addressed during the programme.

Senior officials present on the occasion included Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vishram Singh, Superintendent of Police (North) Mukesh Chandra Mishra, Project Director DRDA Chandra Prakash Shrivastava, In-charge Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nawabganj Nidhi Shukla, along with other concerned officers.
