Mumbai: Sony SAB’s popular show Yaadein continues to win hearts with its engaging narrative and relatable characters. While audiences appreciate the on-screen chemistry between Iqbal Khan and Gulki Joshi, the camaraderie behind the scenes is just as vibrant.
According to Gulki Joshi, Iqbal Khan’s presence on set brings an unmistakable shift in energy. From the hair and make-up team exchanging amused glances to spontaneous moments of admiration, his arrival often leaves the crew pleasantly starstruck.
Recalling one such instance, the actress shared how a routine moment in the green room turned memorable when Iqbal casually walked in to ask for a cup of coffee. “The room suddenly went quiet, and everyone just looked at him,” she said, highlighting the effortless charm he carries.
Beyond the star appeal, Gulki emphasized Iqbal’s professionalism and warmth, noting that his easygoing nature helps create a positive and comfortable work environment. Even during demanding shoot schedules, his attitude keeps the atmosphere light, something she believes translates naturally into their on-screen performances.
“Iqbal’s entry on set definitely brings a different energy. The hair and make-up team often gets a little starstruck, and I’ll admit, I fan-girl a bit too,” Gulki said. “But beyond that, he is extremely warm and professional, which makes working with him very easy and comfortable. Even during hectic shoot days, he manages to keep the atmosphere light and positive. I think that ease and good energy naturally reflect in our scenes as well. Working with him has been a really enjoyable experience.”
