Lucknow: Four players from Uttar Pradesh—Chinmay Dev Chauhan, Rishi Yadav, Vansh Yadav and Joy Das—secured their places in the main draw of the 1st Late Dr. KSM Yunus AITA Prize Money Tennis Tournament after winning their final qualifying matches.
The tournament, carrying a prize pool of ₹1 lakh, is being आयोजित under the aegis of the Uttar Pradesh Tennis Association and hosted by SDS Tennis Academy at the La Martiniere College lawn tennis facility.
In the final round of qualifiers held on Sunday, Chinmay Dev Chauhan, Rishi Yadav, and Vansh Yadav from Uttar Pradesh advanced alongside Haryana’s Sunil Kumar and Harsh Malik, Maharashtra’s Panshul Oboveja, and Rajasthan’s Amit, all earning spots in the main draw.
Founder member of SDS Tennis Academy, Pawan Sagar, informed that the main draw matches will commence on March 30 from 7:30 am. The tournament is sponsored by Iram Group of Institutions.

The formal inauguration ceremony will take place at 5:30 pm, with Prakash D as the chief guest.
The tournament is expected to witness competitive matches as emerging talents from across states compete for top honors.
