Exhibition Showcasing Nine Years of Government Achievements Concludes in Bareilly

Bareilly: An exhibition highlighting the achievements of the Uttar Pradesh government over the past nine years concluded at Hartman Ramlila Ground in Bareilly city. Organized by the Information Department, the event drew a large number of visitors who explored various government initiatives and welfare schemes.

The exhibition served as a platform to present the state government’s progress across multiple sectors, including women empowerment, agriculture, infrastructure, and employment generation. Visitors gained insights into key schemes aimed at improving livelihoods and ensuring inclusive growth.

A major highlight was the expansion of self-help groups across all 75 districts and 826 development blocks, benefiting over one crore rural women by promoting self-reliance. Under various initiatives, women were provided interest-free capital support to establish small enterprises.

In the agricultural sector, farmers were informed about subsidies of up to 50 percent on drone usage and up to 90 percent support for solar pumps under the PM Kusum Yojana. More than 3.12 crore farmers have benefited from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, with over ₹99,000 crore transferred directly to their accounts. Additionally, compensation exceeding ₹5,660 crore has been provided under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.

The exhibition also highlighted infrastructure growth, noting the increase in operational expressways from two before 2017 to seven in 2026, with 15 more under development.

Youth empowerment initiatives such as the Chief Minister Abhyudaya Yojana, which provides free coaching at 163 centers, and employment generation—over nine lakh government jobs and more than three crore opportunities in MSME and private sectors—were also showcased.

Women-centric schemes, including the Lakhpati Didi Yojana and Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana, were prominently featured, emphasizing increased participation of women in the workforce, which has risen from 13% to 36% in the last nine years.

The exhibition concluded successfully, leaving visitors informed about the state’s developmental journey and the impact of various welfare schemes.
