Handloom Exhibition Concludes in Bareilly; Weavers Encouraged to Embrace Online Sales

Bareilly: The handloom exhibition organized at Ramlila Maidan, Hartmann, concluded on Tuesday with District Information Officer Neetu Kanojia presiding over the closing ceremony. The exhibition showcased a diverse range of traditional handloom and handicraft products, drawing appreciation from visitors and officials alike.

During the event, Neetu Kanojia distributed participation certificates to weavers and artisans, acknowledging their craftsmanship and contribution to preserving traditional textile heritage. She praised the event for promoting local talent and encouraged continued efforts to organize similar exhibitions in the future to support artisans.

Addressing the participants, she also advised weavers and handicraft artists to explore digital avenues and expand their reach through online platforms, emphasizing the growing importance of e-commerce in boosting sales and visibility.

On behalf of the weavers, Amita Shukla welcomed the chief guest and expressed gratitude for the recognition extended to artisans.
