Lucknow: Acting on the directives of Joint Commissioner of Police Babloo Kumar, an intensive checking drive was carried out across the Hazratganj police station area to strengthen law and order in the city.
The अभियान was led by Inspector Vikram Singh of Hazratganj, with police personnel deployed at key intersections and sensitive points. Two-wheeler vehicles were thoroughly checked, and riders were verified for valid driving licences, registration papers and compliance with traffic rules.
With upcoming festivals in view, the police have heightened vigilance to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure public safety. Officers maintained strict surveillance at major crossings and crowded marketplaces, sending a strong message against violations and suspicious activities.
The Lucknow Police reiterated that such drives will continue in the coming days to maintain a secure environment and uphold law and order. Citizens have been advised to cooperate with the police, follow traffic norms and carry valid documents while commuting, especially during the festive season.
