Lucknow: Goel Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital hosted its first National Seminar on “An Integrated Approach to Ayurvedic Pathophysiology and Ethnobotanical Therapeutics” on February 27, 2026. The seminar, titled Dravya Nidanam–2026, was organized by the Departments of Dravyaguna and Roga Nidana & Vikriti Vigyan.
The programme commenced with Vande Mataram, Dhanvantari Vandana, Ganesh Pujan and Saraswati Vandana. Principal Prof. Avinash Chandra Srivastava welcomed the distinguished guests and outlined the objectives and key features of the seminar. Among those present were Er. Mahesh Goyal, Chairman of Goyal Group; Er. Samarth Goyal, CEO; Dr. Vivek Agrawal from All India Institute of Ayurveda; Dr. Randhir Singh, Dean of Shri Krishna AYUSH University; Dr. Rakesh Kumar Tiwari of Rohilkhand Ayurvedic College and Hospital; and Dr. Mohan Lal Jaiswal, former Principal of National Institute of Ayurveda.

Over 450 delegates participated. Speakers highlighted reverse pharmacology, climate change’s impact on medicinal plants, toxicology, bioinformatics, digital health, instrumentation, biosensors, and the role of AI in Ayurvedic diagnostics. Organising secretaries Dr. Ankur Saxena and Dr. Deepak Sudhi emphasized that precise diagnosis and quality medicines are essential to strengthening Ayurveda’s global acceptance.
