State-Level Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan Camp Held at GD Goenka Public School

Lucknow: The state-level camp of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan was organised today at GD Goenka Public School, where students from various cities of the Awadh region participated with great enthusiasm. Conducted annually by Vigyan Bharati, the examination aims to nurture scientific temperament and curiosity among school students. Successful participants were selected for the next stage of the competition.

CSIR–NBRI Lucknow Director Dr Ajit Shashney graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. MLC and Chairman of SR Group of Institutions,  Pawan Singh Chauhan, and Chairman of GD Goenka Public School, Sarvesh Goel, attended as Distinguished Guests.

Students showcased remarkable scientific aptitude in this high-level examination. In Class 6, Sanvi Paurwal secured first place, followed by Ashita Yadav and Aditya Upadhyay in second and third positions respectively. In Class 7, Kushagra emerged as the winner, while Aryan Pandey and Akarsh Verma secured second and third places. Yuvraj topped Class 8, with Akshat Rai and Raunak finishing second and third.

In the senior category, Aditya Rai secured first position in Class 9, followed by Anmol Tripathi and Manvi Katiyar. In Class 10, Zara Mazhar topped the list, while Gaurav and Riyansh Yadav secured second and third positions. In Class 11, Prakhar Gupta emerged as the winner, with Anshita Pandey and Yugank Singh securing second and third places.

Vigyan Bharati Awadh Province General Secretary Dr Rajnish Chaturvedi, Kanpur Province General Secretary Dr Sachin, State Coordinator Awadh Province Mr Pradeep Narayan Mishra, and Dr Neeraj Kumar were present and felicitated the selected participants. All speakers encouraged students to work harder for the national-level competition and congratulated them for bringing pride to the state.

Regional Coordinator Mrs Sharmila Singh appreciated all participants and motivated them to take part in similar competitions in the future. On the occasion, Principal of Awadh Collegiate Dr Jatinder Walia and Principal of Pioneer Montessori School Mrs Indu Bala Gaur were also honoured for their contributions to education.
