Unchahar: Bishw Mohan Singh has assumed charge as the new Project Head of NTPC Unchahar, marking the beginning of a new leadership phase at the power station. Soon after taking over, Singh interacted with senior officials and departmental heads, acquainting himself with the operational framework and ongoing activities of the Unchahar project.
On his very first day in office, Singh participated as the Chief Guest at the Winter Workshop of the Girl Empowerment Mission, where he appreciated the efforts of the CSR team for their sustained initiatives aimed at shaping a brighter future for young girls from nearby communities.
The newly appointed Project Head brings with him rich technical expertise in power generation. A Master’s degree holder in Electrical Engineering, Singh has extensive experience across multiple domains of the power sector. Prior to his posting at Unchahar, he served as the Project Head of NTPC Durgapur in West Bengal.

Over the course of his career, Singh has worked at NTPC Headquarters and several key NTPC units, including Farakka, Talcher, Coal Mining projects and joint ventures, gaining wide exposure to diverse aspects of power plant operations and management.
Expressing confidence in the new leadership, departmental heads along with representatives of unions and associations extended their congratulations and best wishes to Singh on assuming charge. In his remarks, Singh said he looks forward to working closely with the Unchahar team to maintain the project’s high standards of performance and operational excellence.
