Lucknow: The Indo–US Business Summit 2025, organised by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) Lucknow Chapter at Hotel Holiday Inn, brought together top ministers, senior bureaucrats, diplomats, and industry leaders for a high-powered dialogue on investment, technology, health, and policy.
The summit was convened by Reena Singh, Chair of the IACC Lucknow Chapter, with the event led by Summit Chair Mukesh Bahadur Singh. Senior IACC leadership, including National President Anup Acharya and Arun Karna, marked a strong institutional presence.

Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & IT, Jitin Prasada, delivered a compelling keynote address, underscoring India’s economic transformation and its rising global stature. He highlighted the government’s vision of shaping Brand India—a symbol of innovation, manufacturing excellence, and competitiveness. Prasada further emphasised how strategic reforms, digital transformation, and investor confidence are propelling India’s growth trajectory. He noted that Uttar Pradesh is rapidly advancing toward a $1 trillion economy, driven by progressive policies, a booming electronics and IT sector, and a strengthening industrial ecosystem.

Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak highlighted the state’s infrastructure revolution, calling it the emerging “Expressways Pradesh.” He noted that world-class connectivity is powering UP’s evolution into a national growth hub. Pathak also spoke about the state’s expanding role in the BrahMos and defence manufacturing ecosystem, reaffirming UP’s strategic importance in India’s defence corridor. He reiterated the government’s commitment to a seamless Ease of Doing Business environment, enabled by Single Window Clearance systems, which have contributed to record investments since 2017.
The summit’s inaugural session featured dignitaries including Chief Guests Brajesh Pathak, Dinesh Pratap Singh (Minister for Horticulture), and Nitin Agarwal (Minister for Excise). The Guests of Honour included senior IAS officers Alok Kumar, Anurag Yadav, Vijay Kiran Anand, Amit Ghosh, Mukesh Meshram, and Lucknow DM Vishakh G Iyer, alongside Justice Shabihul Hasnain.
