London Welcomes Special Screening of ‘Ajay’ to Rapturous Applause

London: London witnessed a spectacular cinematic evening as the highly anticipated film Ajay held its special screening, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience. The hall was packed to capacity, with long queues of viewers waiting for tickets—a testament to the film’s growing impact and its deep connection with the Indian diaspora in the UK.

The event featured renowned author Shantanu Gupta, who traveled from the United States specifically to attend the London screening. The film is based on Gupta’s acclaimed book The Monk Who Became Chief Minister, chronicling the inspirational life and journey of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Dr. Vivek Kaul played a pivotal role in organizing the London initiative, with full support from Mahendra Singh Jadeja, Acharya Abhi Yogi, and Hradesh Gupta of the Indian Diaspora in the UK (IDUK).

“This is a proud moment for us,” said Dr. Kaul. “Hosting this event allowed us to present the struggles and challenges of Yogi Ji in a region once synonymous with chaos and corruption. His tireless efforts have transformed Uttar Pradesh into a well-governed state.”

Hradesh Gupta (IDUK) highlighted the enthusiasm of the diaspora, saying, “Indian expatriates eagerly attended this screening on a regular Monday in central London—this level of engagement is unprecedented.”

Adding a spiritual and patriotic touch to the evening, Acharya Abhi Yogi performed the devotional song ‘Jo Ram Ko Lae Hain…’, creating a deeply moving atmosphere.

The screening was attended by several prominent members of the UK Indian community, including Kuldeep Shekhawat (President, OFBJP UK), Suresh Mangalagiri (General Secretary, OFBJP UK), Ramji Vaidya (HSS), Madhuresh Mishra (FISI), and Didi Surya Prabha (Brahmrishi Ashram), among others.

The event was more than a celebration of cinema; it was a cultural convergence that strengthened India–UK ties, highlighted leadership, and celebrated shared values among the Indian diaspora.
