Araria | Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led Central Government and the Bihar State Government, accusing them of “stealing votes” and “running Bihar through bureaucrats.” Addressing a public rally at Azad Academy Ground in Araria, Gandhi said, “The Bihar government is being controlled by bureaucrats and the BJP at the Centre. On one hand, they claim there is no land for industries; on the other, they provide 100 acres to Adani.”
He further alleged that the BJP governments in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh were formed through “vote theft.” Gandhi claimed, “We have proof—one woman cast a hundred votes. This is how democracy is being stolen.”

Calling the current system “the real jungle raj,” he said, “ED, CBI, and the Income Tax Department are being misused to suppress voices. This is a regime of fear, unemployment, and injustice.”
Promising change, Gandhi said that if the Mahagathbandhan returns to power in Bihar, the government will “listen to every voice” and focus on employment, education, and healthcare. He pledged to establish English-medium government schools and world-class universities modeled after Nalanda University, making higher education affordable.

“The day the INDIA alliance forms the government, universities of global standards will rise in Bihar, where students from China, Japan, and France will come to study,” he said, adding, “I have opened a shop of love in the market of hate. India is a nation of unity and compassion.”
The rally also saw participation from Pappu Yadav, Abidur Rahman, Manoj Biswas, Shad Ahmed, and Avinash Anand, among other local leaders.
