Annette Bening and George Clooney to Star in Upcoming Film In Love

New York: Hollywood veterans George Clooney and Annette Bening are set to co-star in the upcoming film In Love, an adaptation of Amy Bloom’s best-selling novel of the same name. The film will be directed by Paul Weitz, an Oscar contender who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Bloom.

Bloom’s memoir, In Love: A Memoir of Love and Loss, is described as a contemporary and poignant story of two people whose deep bond leads them to confront a difficult choice together.

The project is being produced by Eddie Vaisman and Julia Lebedev under their banner Sight Unseen. Clooney and Grant Heslov will produce through Smokehouse Pictures, while Andrew Miano and Chris Weitz are producing via Depth of Field. Sebastian Raybaud is producing on behalf of Anton.

Currently, Clooney is starring in Jay Kelly, directed by Noah Baumbach, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, alongside Adam Sandler and Riley Keough in the Netflix production.

Bening, a five-time Oscar nominee, will next appear in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride, featuring Peter Sarsgaard, Christian Bale, Penélope Cruz, and Jessie Buckley. She also co-stars with Anya Taylor-Joy in Apple TV+’s series Lucky and is currently filming The Dutton Ranch, a spin-off of Yellowstone.

In Love promises to be a compelling drama that brings together two of Hollywood’s most accomplished actors for a story of enduring love and the complexities of human connection.
