Deepotsav 2025 Showcases ‘Viksit Bharat-Viksit Uttar Pradesh’, Says Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh
Lucknow: The ninth edition of Deepotsav in Ayodhya has emerged as a powerful symbol of development, faith, and cultural renaissance, sending a strong message of “Viksit Bharat-Viksit Uttar Pradesh”, said Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh during his address at the grand celebration.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the minister said,
“Deepotsav-2025 reflects the vision of a developed Uttar Pradesh, which mirrors the dream of a developed India. Under the leadership of CM Yogi, the state is moving on the path of Ram Rajya.”
From Jungle Raj to Ram Rajya
Highlighting the transformation of the state since 2017, Jaiveer Singh stated:
“The people rejected the jungle raj of previous governments and entrusted Yogi Adityanath with power. He uprooted the mafia system and restored the rule of law. Today, Uttar Pradesh is marching confidently towards Ram Rajya.”
Tourism at New Heights, Security Builds Trust
The minister emphasized the unprecedented rise in tourism:
“In recent years, tourism has touched new heights. The enthusiasm of visitors is driving growth. People coming from outside the state now feel safe—this sense of security is the foundation of tourism development.”
Aligning with National Vision
Jaiveer Singh said Uttar Pradesh is fully aligned with the national development agenda:
“Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation is working toward the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. Similarly, under CM Yogi Adityanath, we are advancing towards Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2027 with full determination.”
Deepotsav: A Catalyst of Growth
Calling Deepotsav a model of transformation, the minister stated:
*“Since 2017, Deepotsav has not only created new world records in lighting diyas every year but has also established the ‘Ayodhya Model’—a perfect blend of *development, cleanliness, security, discipline, and devotion.”
He added that the festival has accelerated growth in Ayodhya and neighbouring regions, setting new standards for cultural tourism and urban planning.
Ayodhya Drenched in Divine Light
As evening descended, Ayodhya transformed into a celestial canvas. From Ramkatha Park to Ram Ki Paidi, Dharampath, Lata Chowk and Hanumangarhi, rows of shimmering diyas illuminated every path, every ghat, and every rooftop.
The air resounded with chants of “Jai Shri Ram!” as devotees lit lamps, sang bhajans, and captured the unforgettable scenes on camera. The entire city radiated devotion, unity, and pride.
Message of Hope and Harmony
Concluding his address, Jaiveer Singh extended Deepotsav 2025 greetings to the people of Uttar Pradesh, and thanked the sants, tapasvis, volunteers, and dignitaries present.
He affirmed,
“Deepotsav has given a new dimension to faith and development. Uttar Pradesh has shown the nation how devotion and progress can walk hand in hand. This is the true spirit of Ram Rajya.”
With its ninth edition, Deepotsav 2025 has not only made history but also set the direction for a developed future—where tradition and transformation shine together.
